Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd (GPI) offer insurance certificates for a period of 20 years* starting from the date work was carried out. Unlike others this insurance policies, GPI cover relates to the property rather than the owner, so if you decide to sell your property the cover is automatically transferred free of charge to the new owners. The insurance comes into force if your contractor is no longer trading and covers his liability to you (subject to GPI terms and conditions).

If your contractor goes out of business GPI will provide another PCA contractor in his place to rectify any problems under the guarantee, free of charge.
