Going Green With The New Generation
Dryfix now offer a greener approach to woodworm treatment with the introduction of new Insect Growth Regulators (IGR's). This new generation of woodworm treatments do not work in the same ways as many other treatments which are usually insecticides working as harmful "contact killers".
Insect Growth Regulators (IGR's) work by interrupting or inhibiting the natural life cycle of insects. This prevents insects maturing and, as immature grubs or beetles, they cannot reproduce which inevitably results in their friendly end.
Insect Growth Regulator treatments are applied as water based micro-emulsions which penetrate deep into timber and therefore provide a greater rate of protection.
Treatments are water based and used in far less concentrations than conventional insecticides and are essentially non toxic, non flammable and safe to apply, ensuring minimal impact to your home and the environment.
